Remote label printing

ProdLabels

A direct route from WooCommerce data to Zebra printers, built for teams that need the right label to appear in the right place.

ProdLabels / direction study

A complete route from store data to physical output

The concept treats templates, routing, delivery and history as one operational workflow.

01 / The problem

Printing is easy; reliable routing is not.

Label work is often held together by copied order data, local printer utilities and a person walking back to the one machine that knows how to print.

02 / The observation

The difficult work happens between the trigger and output.

The hard part is choosing the correct template, merging reliable order data, sending it to the right physical location and leaving enough history to understand what happened later.

ProdLabels / system boundaries

Each hand-off has a clear owner

A lane view separates store, plugin, delivery service and workshop responsibilities.

03 / The current direction

Treat the route as one observable workflow.

Treat templates, printer routing and print history as operational infrastructure, while keeping the trigger where the work already starts: inside WooCommerce.

The current direction uses Zebra Cloud Connect for remote delivery while keeping the trigger close to WooCommerce. This dossier describes a concept in development, not finished behaviour.
